The Biletnikoff Award Opens Online Fan Vote

Media Release – September 16, 2013

Tallahassee, FL – The Biletnikoff Award has opened its online Fan Vote for the Biletnikoff Award candidates on the Biletnikoff Award website. Every fan can vote once daily on the Biletnikoff Award Fan Vote Page. The aggregate fan tally will be counted as one official vote for semi-finalists (ten), finalists (three), and the winner.

The Bilentikoff Award Opens Online Forum and Discussion Board

Tallahassee, FL – The Biletnikoff Award has unveiled an online forum and discussion board on the Biletnikoff Award website. The forum consists of fan-created discussion topics that allow sports fans to voice their opinions.

“Our Biletnikoff Award Forum cultivates interesting conversations about any sports issues fans wish toinitiate, including who should win the Biletnikoff Award,” noted Biletnikoff Award Chairman Ritchie Pickron.

Tallahassee, FL -The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., the Florida-based creator and sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award, has released the 2013 Biletnikoff Award Pre-season Watch List. The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the outstanding receiver in college football. The award recipient is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of over 200 prominent college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers. Biletnikoff Award Announces Former College and NFL Coach Dick Vermeil as the 2014 Biletnikoff Award Banquet Keynote Speaker

Former college and NFL coach Dick Vermeil will deliver the keynote address at the 2014 Biletnikoff Award Banquet, called by 2013 keynoter Larry Csonka and other observers “the best banquet in college sports.” Vermeil was an outstanding head coach on four levels of football in high school, community college, NCAA Division I and the National Football League. He was head coach of UCLA, the Philadelphia Eagles, the St. Louis Rams, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
